The Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Historical Museum would love to welcome you as a volunteer to the museum. There are varied areas with the museum for you to choose from:
- we are looking for a few folks good with a hammer and nails to help us make some signs and exhibits cases;
- those interested in helping care for our hundreds of objects;
- we are beginning to work on our archives and could use help from those interested in books and archival objects;
- we love to have volunteers greet new visitors at the door and welcome them to the museum – volunteers we have found make the best greeters, because they are here because they love this place and they exude excitement to the new visitors
- sometimes your special talents really help us even if you don’t think you have a special talent
So call or come by the museum and let us know you are interested in volunteering. We’ll be waiting for you!
